Restructuring Nigeria along the 36 states lines will not work,it will only breed more crises, mass migration and severe poverty.

lets take for example borno and yobe states,if resource control and state policing is introducing how will these states cope? They are mostly arid states with little resources, how will the generate IGR.

I personally suggest we revert to regional goverment of 1963,states should be dissolved referendum should be carried out on all ethnic nationalities to choose were they want to belong.

Majority of the states were created with politics in mind, not viability.

Borno have cows, Terrorists, and bandits. That could fetch them good revenues from ISIS ,and Hesbollah .

They have nothing to worry, the entire North already have a source of revenue in Terrorism, banditry, and Sharia law. Saudi Arabia, and Palestinian won't forget their own

No let's go to 6 regions but give people chance to switch to regions they want

Yorubas in kogi kwara can go to south west
Southern kaduna , southern gombe , bauchi , brono ,yobe n the rest can move to north Central

Igbos in south south can move to south east

End state system let's have province

Ijebu , ileja , ede ,mbaise , asaba ,ika , ikwerre province for example along ethnic lines
Let this province decide what region to join

It will work, in fact it has to work!
Asking states to chose which region to belong won't work and reverting to regionalism won't work either.

The way out is for all the states to control the resources found within their states and pay certain percentage to the central government. Also, the central government can assume full control of offshore oil and gas resources. Thus, the percentages states pay to the central government together with offshore oil resources and federal taxes from exclusive areas like maritime and airports will be enough to assist poor states.

You think those parasites that are morbidly afraid of Nigeria's breakup will allow such demographic changes when they know it will unite the various regions and make it easy for them to morph into separate nations.

Personally, I feel the constitutional review is a distraction. The man heading it has openly displaced his bias.

Secondly, the best solution for Nigeria is dissolution. The next best thing is an unparalleled regionalism. You cannot be using people's resources and intellect to finance poverty, religion and other vices in the name of "one Nigeria ". You can choose to turn your country or region into Afghanistan. Na your problem be dt.

South is generating over 80% of the national GDP but in the name of "one Nigeria " illiterates are occupying juicy positions and control national wealth.

The above were created by the military. The Regions have to be created by referendum
