Wisdom for the city

Where are you going in the City.

Please permit me to ask you a question. Where are you going with your life?. Your life is a city founded by God. But you refuse to allow him rule the city of your life. Right now I am sure you do not like the way your life is turning out. You are not satisfied with the result you are getting. And this situation has now made you become desperate and impatient. You feel you are out of time, you are not getting younger, when will I make make it if I continued at this pace. So right now you are thinking of doing something drastic to change the situation. May be you are even thinking of leaving town or traveling out. You want to try another land.

I want you to know that the disciples of Jesus Christ were in similar situation. They needed to get to the other side of the sea before darkness catch up with them, so they began to row the boat very fast. But the more they rowed, the farther they became from the land, Why? Because a storm had risen. Secondly because Jesus was not in the boat.

And it was because they were in a haste that was why they didn't wait for Jesus. Is your life like that, you know you have the call of God over your life, but you feel the need to be successful first, before you can answer the call.

The more you strive to be successful without Jesus in your Journey, you will just be frustrated all the way. Bible made us see that until they allowed Jesus into the boat before they could make a headway. And the bible says that immediately Jesus stepped into the boat, they arrived at the shore where they were going.

Which means that the moment you accept to allow God have his rightful place in your life, then that very dream that you have been struggling to accomplish will suddenly come to fruition. you will accomplish everything you have dreamed to have. Your labour will turn to profit.

It is time to allow Jesus into the Journey so that you can get to where you are going in the city on time. John 6:16-21
