The platform used for propagating fake news that are capable to cause Violence.

China did it, heaven didnt fall. Twitter must operate according to the laws of our land..

Ipob are terorists and must be crushed

Firstly, If the FG wants a particular tweeter to be banned and censored, all they needed to do is contact Twitter with their request. Any seasoned Tech person knows this.... But when you have someone like Mr Lai Lai in charge, all you'll get is backward decisions...

Secondly, Twitter deleted President Trump's tweet, and also suspended his account. As in a whole President of USA. But did USA ban Twitter? No. That's because they understand the meaning of democracy.

This Twitter ban is a clear expression of a Dictatorship government.

Donald Trump tried but he couldn’t, so Twitter banned him instead, Nigeria is different , those liberal democrats of twitter will soon start begging. Let them carry their business to promote their LGBTH movement.

This message should have been issued since yesterday. It explains a lot. Those who are hellbent on misunderstandings the position of FG will still do so no matter the explanation. However, for those with open minds, it explains a lot.

Hopefully, Twitter will start playing by the rules of common sense and stop supporting terrorism against Nigeria. The Twitter ban is an anomaly but a necessary evil. I hope it’s lifted as soon as possible.

For me, it’s Nigeria first. I will never put an irresponsible big tech company from an imperialist country over the corporate existence of my country.

That we were born @ nite doesnt mean it was last night, speaking of support buhari as shown more support to terrorism b4 elected & his govt as continue to handle terrorism with baby gloves, hence so much insecurity in the country but they are alway looking for who to blame, they even blamed mtn @ some point fr boko haram. twitter effect is highly irrelevant when the real evil sits in aso rock.
On another news bandit killed lots of people today in kebbi, if they use the same energy they use to gag Endsars, twitter & social media to curb insecurity would it not av been achievement. can twitter beat buhari reckless statement

IPOB is proscribed under Nigerian law. Its members murder innocent Nigerians. They kill policemen and set government property on fire. Now, they have amassed a substantial stockpile of weapons and bombs across the country.

Twitter does not seem to appreciate the national trauma of our country's civil war. This government shall not allow a recurrence of that tragedy.

God bless president Asadullahi Buhari
you are really stupid. When boko Haram and Fulani bandits cause havoc all over the North East, in fact, the nation in general, you and your clueless master buhari didn't see anything wrong with that. You dare to open your rotten mouth to talk on ipob. Thunder fire you

You are so shameless. You don't deserve to be on this platform. So because of your hate for Twitter, we should all be restricted from using the platform.

You must be living in a very remote village. It's been the topic of conversation everywhere I've been since yesterday. Infact, I first learnt the news from my coworkers discussing it and didn't even have a clue what they were talking about till I tried opening Twitter.
And Nigerians being indifferent and desensitized to government tyranny and abuse is proof of everything wrong with us as an unhealthy society and not proof the government is serving in the best interests of people. We're probably the most docile people on earth in the face of misrule, brazen corruption and tyranny. There could be a coup tomorrow in this country and life would go on as normal. So it's amusing you're invoking this indifference in support of your warped perceptions.
Bro, he is right. It depends on your circle of friends for you to know what is trending on social media. Majority of Nigerians don't know about Twitter talk less of its ban by the president.

Buhari has opened the door for all developing countries on how to treat some of these tyrant tech that only care to protect the interest of those bloody imperialists capitalists.

You can ask Twitter officers when you reach Ghana.

When u and Apc used same twitter and youths to abuse Jonathan and ensure he leaves power twitter was not the tyrants tech that’s only cared to protect the interest of those bloody imperialists capitalist??

Are u sure Apc is ok in the head?? Isn’t it same twitter u used to damage Jonathan/Pdp government? Why is Apc afraid of their shadow?

This very action will be one of ur greatest undoing, whether u restore twitter or not. I hope u don’t so Nigeria remember ur legacy because some of Nigerians act like we have amnesias.

Kudos Apc/Buhari government. More power.

Radarada, if you will threaten IPOB with force, why not compare them with Boko Haram, why compare it with a civil war the killed millions of citizens in which some are still nursing the wound till date.
Or why not simply say anything act of violence shall be met with equal force, why bring in the civil war in which you are one of the players that killed lots of innocent citizens (young, old, men, women)
I won't ask what is wrong with you because it's obvious that nothing has ever been right with you nor your demonic crew.

The fact is that the deleted Buhari's tweet, which referenced the civil war tragedies didn't hit directly at Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB or ESN if they were the targets. No, it didn't. It pointedly hit the sensibilities of generality of Igbo race in particular and other non-northern ethnic nationalities in general.

In as much as every Igbo person dreams of an equitable Nigeria or preferably realization of the Promised Land, Biafra, the truth is that not every Igbo agree with Nnamdi Kanu's views or methods.

In any case, the Commander-in-Chief didn't have to make a boastful statement to enthrone security and enforce order in South East. He just needed to do the needful: give routine orders and give critical approvals.

However, truth be told, just like Buhari's tweet was deleted, some of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's tweets deserve to be deleted. But I guess FG has to make representations to Twitter about that.

Nothing warrant deletion of the President's post.

Twitter remains suspended.

You guys can twist it however you like.

We cannot allow Twitter or any social network run our affairs.

They are only businesses.
