For me i didnt like the Samsung camera output, the back is fair though not too okay as I want and the front camera is wack and no phone call recording these features are essential to me cos its work based. Not to lie the battery is awesome that's the only thing they got right. I got Xiaomi 9T as replacement.

No Led notification,No Front flash and That's the only ish I v with it.

But one other thing I don't like is the fact that screenshot images saves with DCIM folder instead of saving as screenshot on Google photos. But I read online that's a general issue with Xiaomi and Samsung cos that isn't so on my Infinix Note 6.

Asides that all is perfect. Smooth operation, the battery is strong, I am a heavy phone user and its carries me on 12hrs averagely. And camera is sharp as well.

how do i deactivate promoted apps, it's beennshowin since I downloaded that AOE yesterday. All videos and articles online shows no remedy.

Clicked on folder name but no option there to deactivate.

you can't unless if buy the app. Meanwhile, if you have not set the app already, here's the steps required.






The process is a bit long.
Launch the AOE app -> go-to Main Settings -> Required Permissions and grant access to the following
* Independent Lighting Controller
* Notification Access
* Show over other apps
* Phone state
* Change system settings
* App Restriction -> allow app to run when you want it to.
Then save
Go back to main menu
APP SETTINGS
*WHEN TO TURN ON EDGE LIGHTING (tick the following)
- When A Notification Is Received ( choose how you want Ur notifications)
- Incase Of More Than One Notification When Screen Is Off - tick Light for Latest
- Reminder While Screen Is Off - choose Ur preferred seconds
- Reminder Ringtone - pick Ur choice
- Light Over System Lock Screen - tick change wallpaper - and choose Ur wallpaper so you won't get a black screen when a notification is received and the screen is off.
- Charge Lighting
The rest are optional or based on preference.
When you are done click on SAVE.

Go back to main settings
click LIGHTING SETTINGS
-> Enable Edge Lighting
-> Device Screen Corners - tick Adjust Manually
-> Enable Notch Support - tick Adjust Manually
then choose your preferred Notch Type ( I use "V-narrow"
-> Lighting Placement - pick Ur choice (I used "Around Notch Only"
-> Edge Style - pick Ur choice
-> Lighting Mode - tick intermittent
-> Edge Colour Effect - pick Ur choice
-> Lighting Effect - pick Ur choice.


Then SAVE and exit the app. You are good to go. I might delay in responding to your query, if any cuz of work.

Ah all this just for notification of issokay. But yesterday when I tried it and tried saving it showed that the edit I did is premium thus require payment.

But will reinstall the app and try again with the guidelines u gave.
