As food prices continue to increase in the country, Twitter users have disclosed that slices of yams are now sold in the market, IgbereTV reports.

@a_vanita stated that 4 slices of yam are now being sold in the market for N200 to those who don't have enough money.

In times of scarcity, people tend to shift focus into farming which creates a saturated market while crashing the cost of food due to supply..

Buhari also shut borders where foods are being brought into Nigeria when we are not self sufficient yet, aside being not self sufficient farmers can't go to farm because of Buhari's kinsmen who will attack them on their farms.
