You're just an emptily materialistic hack without even the most common of senses.

Dorsey can buy Buhari yet he has chosen to beg and grovel. Lol.

Why does Dorsey just not show up at Aso Rock with billions of dollars to buy Buhari then? Mumu.

While you're here holding brief for your oyinbo master, because you hate your nation, your President and likely your own black skin, Dorsey is busy begging Buhari and Nigeria by trying to ingratiate himself daily, in one way or the other, to both President and nation.

To be honest, Dorsey's display is cringeworthy and pathetic. Nigerian flags daily and then "the people of Nigeria will lead cryptocurrency". I nearly puked reading that. Your grovelling guy, typical nerd that he is, no even get the minimum of liver.

Dorsey himself is showing he knows who be oga na and that running a blog is not the same as running the biggest black nation on Earth. Who the hell are you then to dey shalaye for the coward nerd now begging for his pathetic life?

Development takes countless DECADES, even up to a CENTURY OR MORE unless you are 'lucky' enough to be:

1: A tiny gulf state of 2 million people with gazillion amounts of crude oil, like Kuwait or UAE

2: You happen to be one of the 4 Asian Tigers which were deliberately selected by the west for technology transfer, free western market access for their finished goods, and heavy funding/easy term credit facilities, all done to create capitalist bulwarks to checkmate rampaging Soviet communism in Asia Pacific after WW2.

3: A 'China', which imposed brutal, communist military dictatorship, which banned ALL IMPORTS for 30 years, forcing the people to be self-reliant at gun point, and ride in bicycles till they developed indigenous technology to build their own vehicles, etc. A policy that led to brutal crackdowns on dissent, numerous extra-judicial killings, and thousands (if not millions) of political prisoners, and a ban on free speech and political association which continues to this day.

cheesy ..

We have kuku been on the same page ,just trying to pass a deliberate message.

It's all glaring that Nigeria political elites are below average, but at least there have been some improvements in most of the sectors except in security. No excuse for failure though but that doesn't mean this government is bad all through.

Before blaming Buhari for all the world problems , how is your state governor, senator, reps members performing?

Buhari and his government have less than 3 years to complete their second term.. If you can survive the 5 years +, have hope and believe you would see more years after Buhari's tenure, so there is no need in burning your region down and making your people vulnerable to any attacks all in the name of detesting Buhari who lives presently in far away Abuja.

Btw, The Pdp and Ipob goons , could you people also try and be engaging maturely like this without name calling? Ask questions on things you are not sure of/want more clarification than throwing tantrum. After all, we all want the best for the country..

Nigeria is not going to any war, Nigeria is not dividing... Let there be peace

Some people are really funny.. You are showing us Twitters debt, how about their profit?

Could you also show us Nigeria debt as well to balance your reportage? undecided

Sir, sometimes appreciate wit. It is not everything you have to be mirthless and serious with. Also, pride in your nation should be automatic especially when others are attempting to belittle her wrongly.

OP is shading twitter to Nigerians who have suddenly turned the entity into a God that, in their eyes, is suddenly greater than Nigeria and her President.

Not even a fan of Buhari currently but truth is that no well-calibrated Nigerian should support Dorsey's attempt to shade our President and, by extension, our nation.

If we inspect what transpired dispassionately you will see that Dorsey fcked up badly. He played to the gallery deleting Buhari's speech to side with whoever advised him that Buhari's stern warning message was a hidden reference to civil war genocide whereas the grammatical argument can be made that it is not.

Meanwhile same Dorsey has let slide tweets that blatantly and unequivocally call for the unleashing of terror against Nigeria from the likes of Kanu etal. Pathetic double standard no one should display publicly let alone assume they can use openly to berate and cower the President of the biggest black nation on Earth. Buhari's action was right and just.

Buhari has emerged a hero here and Nigeria's image is the better for it. Dorsey is now licking Nigeria's butt daily and others have commended Buhari for his brave and uncompromising action against twitter that was beginning to fancy itself a dictatorial arbiter/interpreter of opinion when it is only a glorified blog that thinks it is now Al Jazeera. Lol.

Don't mind them. They cannot appreciate that their own unpatriotic actions only encourages the negative stereotyping of Nigeria and Nigerians that permeates the West which always enjoys its racist, demeaning and condescending approach to dealing with Africans and African nations.

I remember some Nigerians wanting Trump declared a living Saint when he called Haiti and African Nations "shithole Countries".

For sure Nigeria's underdevelopment has a major part to do with the underdevelopment of the mind of the average Nigerian rather than the actions/inactions of political leaders alone.

We make a lot of noise but the actions of a lot of Nigerians show we are not ready to lead ourselves and will always fawningly look to the West and 'Oyinbo' for approval, validation and direction.

Now you're talking bruv. Not a fan of Buhari, mainly because of his failings over security, but I would be an imbecilic hater if I allow that blind me to all the good Buhari has done in 5 years which is far more than the demonic PDP did in 16 years of leading Nigeria from 1999 to 2015.

If Nigerians are a people truly ready for greatness then we would always be able to see the wood for the trees and then react appropriately and patriotically when the specific occasion calls for it.

In the Twitter v Buhari spat, the only side Nigerians should support should be Buhari. Dorsey and twitter deliberately tried to play to the gallery and scapegoat/disgrace our President with the most awful and judgemental display of hypocrisy, double standards and clout chasing.

I don't know how the fundamentals at play here is lost on some Nigerians which is that if Twitter's gets away with its effort to ridicule Buhari wrongly and hypocritically then it has succeeded to do precisely same to our nation and every Nigerian individually.

Sure. If you insist.

As of December 2020, the most recent official data available, Nigeria's public debt was $86.3 billion, of which ONLY 3.3 billion dollars is owed to CHINA.

https://qz.com/africa/1994765/how-much-debt-does-nigeria-owe-china/

So in terms of debt, Nigeria is pretty much OKAY.

We haven't over-borrowed by any stretch of the imagination. In fact many economists would say we are under-borrowed as a nation, and probably should take on a bit more debt to improve our international credit profile and standing.

You call this "OKAY"?

Disorder is a huge impediment for growth, costing the economy $10.3 billion in 2020 — more than the federal government’s total revenue that same year, according to official estimates. Without key reforms, Nigeria’s economy will remain anemic, expanding little more than 2% this year and next, still below the population growth rate, according to the International Monetary Fund.

In the meantime, the government is living on borrowed money, with debt service costs eating up over 80% of its revenue.

“This could end up in an external debt default if things don’t change,” said Charlie Robertson, global chief economist with Renaissance Capital, an emerging and frontier markets investment bank.

First off, no one said Twitter's debt was due to the Nigeria ban. That would be silly.

SECONDLY, you claimed it was a ''Fulani website'' showing you are just a wastrel.

Then you posted Twitter's 'net worth' showing you haven't a clue what DEBT means.

THIRDLY you showed your foolishness by saying ''it was 2020 debt''.

You should be glad I posted 2020 figures.

Here are 2021 debt figures for twitter.

Twitter long term debt for the quarter ending March 31, 2021 was $4.246B, a 24.95% increase year-over-year.

Twitter long term debt for 2020 was $2.569B, a 2.39% increase from 2019.

Twitter long term debt for 2019 was $2.509B, a 42.93% increase from 2018.

Twitter long term debt for 2018 was $1.755B, a 2.72% increase from 2017.

I'm sure you will call Macrotrends a 'Fulani website'.

Are people still allowed to buy people?
Does the law allow it?
Haven't the law abolished slavery?
Then why do you think I meant he's gonna physically buy Buhari when I said he can buy him?

What I meant was, he's more than a 100 times richer than Buhari and his entire generation. Put the networth of Buharis generation all together. Jacks pockek money would still cover everything. If we were still on the slave days, yes Jack would buy Buhari and you know it, no cap.

It's very pathetic and embarrassing how you almajiris think Twitter is actually begging Buhari LMFAOOO. post a site that said so, it it isn't just your reasons. Yall wish Jack is actually begging this zoo, but he isn't. He posted those flags on the day of the protest, that is to show his support to the citizens against this stupid government.

I wouldn't insult my country men if they were actually doing the right thing. Buhari banned Twitter just bcus Twitter deleted his post he made, forgetting that millions of youths use it to make money and provide food for their fams. A very useless government. I wouldn't dare defend them.

This is toooooo small for a country of over 200 million people o.

It sure is.

You see, we have this misconception in Nigeria that we are a VERY RICH COUNTRY, which, if only the leaders did not steal, would be as developed as the likes of Germany, USA, Holland, France, UK etc.

I mean, it is the very height of self delusion.

The poorest of those countries has an annual budget not less than 1 TRILLION dollars. The USA leads, with an annual budget of 6.7 trillion dollars.

Nigeria's is 35 billion dollars. Meaning we have not even started as far as generating wealth is concerned.

Even if we were to be ruled by saints direct from heaven, we would still NOT be as developed as those countries in the next 70 years. We do not have anything like their wealth.

These are countries that have been accumulating wealth for UP TO 5 CENTURIES or more, non-stop, through various means, including outright theft and brigandage, when our people were still in the pre-industrial era, engaged in subsistence farming and artisanship.

We are just ONE generation removed from a population of illiterate village peasants under colonial subjugation, and yet we think we should be as advanced as France and Germany, which have produced multiple generations of highly educated citizens for several centuries!

Why? because we found a bit of oil, the reserves of which are far lower than those of UAE, with just 9 million people.

We are utterly deluded as a people.

It is why we are so disgruntled.

The key to our development is to just forget about that oil and get busy in multiple ventures both on a public and on a personal level, and hope that in about 50 or 60 years, we would have made some sort of headway, which our grandkids may enjoy.

Den say twitter is in debt, you say no, then you posted with your own hand a caption showing that Twitter actually owes even more money than suggested, you basically proved him right with your own caption. Do you know how to read at all?

Now I see why they call you illiterate.

Did you even read my comments? Stupid Abōki. I never said they weren't in dept. They are but the revenue that the make every year is large, reason they don't feel it. The revenue is covering the dept that is why they aren't bankrupt. They even have a balance that should get rid of the dept should they man up to pay it. Learn to read.

Jack Dorsey's black slave. He must be getting a lot of joy off your slave lips on his mojo.

Twitter is currently unprofitable, with a very high debt to equity ratio of 67%

Twitter is unprofitable but the owner of twitters networth rose from 12billion in 2020 to 15billion in 2021. Which means, he's been benefiting from the revenue generated by Twitter. He's richer than your generation alongside the lineage of Buhari plus lair Mohammed. You should start by showing us a picture of your house that's if you don't live with cows in the forest, just like every other fulani
