This is exactly why you should learn programming because most people find it difficult. I always laugh when people say in some years everybody would be a programmer.

If it were that easy by now the supply we be more than demand and companies will be pricing developers 30k per month.

But the reverse is the case. The demand can never meet the supply, not even in USA or India or China.

True it's very tough even some of this niches ain't so easy as I mention it. It takes a whole lot of grit even after the normal programming.

You can learn programming for any reason and succeed. You just need to be very disciplined. My goals were money and migration. I was never passionate about programming. I am not and I can say I am fairly okay. Saying people must be passionate about programming to me is hogwash. Are petroleum engineeers passionate about crude oil? Are civil engineers passionate about buildings? We use the passion word too wrongly.

it is not a must that you have passion for it. But if you have passion for it, it will be an added advantage to you. If you are learning it for income sake then you have to be diligent about it because if you give up on it without achieving you aim then you will be a failure in this field. You have to think twice

Don't mind them. If they set up python IDE they will now say it's easy. Since yesterday night I've been trying to install a framework to allow me code email templates ask tensazangetsu20, he will confirm to it.

I'm not sure I've made a head way. Programming is not easy especially the part that will make you money.

In the short time I've spent as a programmer I've found money to be one of the biggest motivators in learning any new language or framework.

I have gone very far for my level sha. I just cant post most of my works out there again due to confidential issues. Like I said in a previous comment, I deployed a site for a multi billion dollar conglomerate in the USA that employs more than 30000 people. I launched a landing page this week for a crypto startup that just raised 10 million dollars in funding. I am presently doing a very huge e commerce jamstack configuration for a business that does around 50 million USD in annual revenue. The job was gotten from one of the biggest known guys in the space. If I post links of what I have done, my people at work can find me.

@symbuul what you are experiencing now is completely normal.

Getting introduced to a completely strange material, you are reacting to it.

I've got few questions for you :

Why did you back out, what is the cause ??

is it the idea or the resources you are using ??

What language are you learning now ??, you know what just let me understand your struggles ??

Gbam thats the major reason I learnt programming not even the financial aspect of it sef. I never get up to a year of experience sha so I am practically illegal for any legal migration scheme out there.

Programming requires the effort and resources only passion and intrinsic motivation can give.

Moving heaven and earth to get something complex done, endless and painful debugging session, hours of brainstorming, et al

If you haven't still develop some sort of passion for this field then it is safe to assume you are willing to endure some form of pain just for you to get out, but still it will limit you in some ways.

Programming is not as hard as you think, you just need someone to put you through. It usually seems very tough at the beginning. It will get easier as time goes on

State the problem.

You can remove the hard disk and give the laptop to him.

Make of it what you can. As of march last year I was still asking help from nairalanders on flexbox grin. Sometimes I am shocked of what I even do. Me that used to just write plain HTML and just hate doing CSS and struggle so much with basic JavaScript things. Anyone can code, you just need to be consistent.
