Good Day House.

Please I need you all to weigh in on this matter. I am desirous of renting an apartment within proximity to Ikoyi where I work. The problem, however, is that apartments in the Akoka, Onike, Ebute Metta axis are on the high side. Some of the landlords even demand 2 year rent or a year and a half.

I saw a place in Ilaje, Bariga which I fancied but I am having second thoughts about the place because of the stories I have heard about Bariga. For those who have stayed in Ilaje, do you think it is an area where someone who is not looking for trouble should stay? What are the drawbacks to staying there?

Your quick, objective response will be appreciated. Thank you.

That's a cult hotbed. Violence is their culture there. Lives are worthless over there. Just wooing the wrong girl can get you stabbed multiple times. Even when you stay celibate & mind your biz, your car windscreen will be smashed in any riot outbreak. And if you decide to trek, you can be robbed in broad daylight with kids and women outside. Nowhere is safe there. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!
