I am afraid you are terribly mistaken there. It is impossible to love God without obeying all of that which God commands. Jesus Christ put it this way , " Those who love me are those who obey my commandments..." ..John 14 vs 20- 21. And some of the commandments given by Jesus Christ in the New Covenant Law of the Kingdom of God, the New agreement from God to man embodied in the person of Jesus Christ, is that you give(not to churches or take who have ) but to those who are in need.

In Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46, Jesus Christ goes as far as to make it quite clear that those who will enter into Heaven when He returns are those who do give to the least of these, while those who do not do those works of righteousness , are bound for eternal damnation in Hell. So, Heaven is not for those who attend church regularly or do what their pastors tell them. Instead, it is for those who submit to and obey the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, giving to the poor according to God's Will.

From your write up one can deduce that your service to God through the church is transactional. Because you clean the church you expect once you send the pastor a text for money he will rush to credit your account.
Have you for once asked the pastor how he is coping with life's challenges? Havent you heard of "widows mite"? In your lack you can start helping people in the church and maybe God will see your effort and empower you to be the helper of the poor in the church.

Secondly, I will love to introduce you to the concept of trusting God. It may sound abstract but it works if you are patient. The bible says woe is he who trusts in the arm of flesh. the problem with most Nigerian christians is that we worship pastors to our own detriment. We fail to see that pastors are first loyal to their human nature before being loyal to God. Most pastors are so far from God, they don't practice what they preach. Please if you love God serve Him with the help of the Holy Spirit, leave pastors alone. Don't allow them to use their human nature to deceive you that God is always at their beck and call. If you read the Bible well, you can always discern when your pastor is leading you astray. Can Jesus tell you a sick man to leave your bedrest and go and buy fuel? Are you telling me the pastor cannot buy fuel and then visit you later to see how you are doing?
