The reason I ask so,to me

I wouldn't mind having them again however, might want them to be a little more strict. I was raised reminded that there are consequences for my actions and they are mine to bear which I appreciate.

I prefer trying new parents.But won't mind my dad as one of my older brothers and my mom as a close family friend

I will like them both to be my parents again in the next life as they gave my siblings and I a beautiful childhood. My father has been my classicc example that a father having to go out to earn bread for his family can never be an excuse not to bond with his children in their formative years, play with them, be their comedian and the children see their father laugh from the heart as those are some of what we most remember in our adulthood

Like I said earlier, I am having no conversation with you about my childhood, to what end? If I need to have a talk about it, I will so discuss it with someone who have been trained in active listening and I am at ease with.

I assume nothing. Abeg no use me do "practice of counselling" .

One of the key rules about counseling/therapy is "do not insist", let the other person decide whether to engage or not and what to talk or not talk about.

I listen and talk for a living, I don't need to burn energy here.

Tough decision to make for me, they are both wonderful people, na their strong head especially when making decisions that are not right but will never listen to the children just because they are the parents and they spend the money. But every other thing with the exception of money matter, they are good to go for a second chance and with me knowing what I know now, I will practice that strong head and even disrespect them when needed.
