Communication and negotiation skills are part of the soft skills which are in high demand by the employers now. It gives an employee or a candidate an edge above others without such skills. Fortunately, they can now be acquired from the comfort of one's home. I've had two certifications in soft skills all done online.

I know about communication and negotiation very well. The style I use is the Harvard style where one talks about not using positioning bargaining, BATNA, and many other principles. But I am curious how employers will beg one to work for them. To me, it's just an invaluable tool for leaders. A hustler should pick cyber security and is sure of getting the attention of employers. But communication and negotiation? I still do not get it.

Well, like you put it, it gives an edge. It is an added advantage.

Oga will you pay someone to come and learn from you?! Try and think outside the box.

Learn a skill, practice and produce some samples or have a portfolio of your work. Then go and around and offer your service for free! Most people will give you a chance because they have nothing to lose but you have everything to gain.

That's how you gain work experience and if you are good (which you should strive to be) then they will never want to loose you. No Pain no gain!.... but our youth of nowadays no even wan work before they make money talk less of working for free.

Believe me Oga I employ people and no matter all our shakara no employer wants to loose a good hand.

I have a little of 1 in terms of digital, also I have 3,4 in terms of tech idea, got 5, 6 and 7
I thought I could harness the potentials of my present environment but I thought wrong. Its rather a dream killer zone.

We do paid internship but these interns you are talking about are not just coming from graduate school, they are interning with some years of experience on the job and very high qualifications.. the goals most times is to have a team of not so expensive young interns who are ready to add a feather to their CV by working for another well established and reputable company. there is a limited-term for internships and most leave to better positions so it is just a grooming and polishing ground. EXPERIENCE is still a resounding factor that is considered.

Admittedly, the word "skills" is vague and has the limitation of ambiguity.

For some "skills" could mean any deployed capability; for others "skills" will come from, "skillset", which will be those capabilities which are not necessarily taught in schools within specified subjects.

Your designs are nice, I’m learning ui/ux design and your current disposition is discouraging, have you tried up work specifically, a lot of UI design jobs there, that’s what motivated me to start the learning, also, why not get to the programming section of NL and connect with programmers that design mobile app so that you can work as a ui designer with them when they get contract to build an app. If you have done all this and it’s not working please reply so I can discontinue with the learning and use my life for something else.
