There have been misleading reports that Nnamdi Kanu was rearrested in the UK. It is untrue. Nnamdi Kanu came into Southern Cameroon sometime this June. Recall that IPOB formed an alliance with Ambazonia separatists months ago. According to Ijele Speaks TV, which was the first to expose Nnamdi Kanu's presence in Southern Cameroon, Nnamdi Kanu planned to sneak into Nigeria to take a picture before returning to the UK. It would have been stupid of him to enter Southern Cameroon if truly he was arrested there. What was he thinking? The government of Cameroon is battling a secessionist movement already so there is no way they would be friendly with the leader of a secessionist movement from a neighboring country. |
