Glo ng are swindling their customers of their data.. So,I've been using glo data plan for some time now.. More than a year.. Recently I've noticed that my plan is running out faster than normal.. I use the 7Gb for #1500 weekly plan.. I've noticed drastic reduction in the duration of time it lasts.. Was still skeptical whether it was from increased usage from my end.. Last weekend I subscribed to the 3Gb plan.. Only to receive a message after 3 hours that 70% of my plan was gone!! What!!! 3 hours of not watching or downloading anything!! More than 2Gb gone!!  I called their Customer Service and they told me it was from my end.. I didn't believe it!! The last straw that got me mad was yesterday night!! I subscribed for the 1Gb night plan.. Downloaded a 250Mb movie.. Did a 175Mb update.. And my 1Gb was gone!! Checked my data usage and saw 425Mb used!! GLO ARE THIEVES!!! 15 Likes |

Are you sure someone hasn't secretly activated data share on your line? Check for data share numbers. Last time I remembered, only glo offers the ability to broadcast internet from a sim across different sims 11 Likes |

Haha omo me ehnn I normally do 1500 for 7gig everyweek with night plans go suport it every night. But now ehn I decided to add 500 naira weekend plan to support it because the 1500 no they last at all. That weekend plan they run like tap and before Sunday e don finish. On Sunday morning I go do 200naira Sunday plan for 1gig. That's almost 3k everyweek. Now the 1500 wey I do on Monday Thursday them don alert me say data plan will soon expire. 1 Like |

Won't my phone data counter capture the said data drain? The thing read 425Mb.. And that is in the neighborhood of the data I consumed.. Based on my downloads.. And yet glo said my 1Gb is finished? |

I think glo is the best as every gb of data they you have is truly accounted for. What u use is what gets deducted. MTN is the worst. U will downoad a stuff of 200mb and loss 500mb of data. 5 Likes |

OneKinGuy:Up till recently.. I have had no problem with them.. But for the past one month or so.. Their deductions on my plans have been nothing to write home about.. How do you explain 1Gb data being counted as 425Mb by your phone.. And that was in the neighborhood of what I consumed,by my own calculations.. |

op call glo customer care, i used to experienced same situation until i called them and they told me i was sharing data with someone, they gave me the code to check the number i was sharing data with, another code to deactivate the data sharing servicing. when i checked the number, unfortunately i dont know the number and i have never shared my data with anyone, how the person did it till today i still dont know |

Just what I was thinking. I do 1500 twice weekly, it runs normal then boom data notification that it's almost exhausted. I will definitely switch to mtn because I think it's even cheaper by my calculations. |

glo is the best that really offers you value for your money without cheating you. Please download a good meter on playstore and track your activities. I thought they were not good enough for me untili tried airtel last week. Airtel is unknown and known scammer i ever used. My meter always expose them. You will always be short of 250mb on 1g. Thieves. |
