A Nigerian man, Malachy Chizoba, has gone viral after revealing what he used his matriculation gown which he rented with N5000 after the ceremony, Reports.

From The Information Gathered By , He shared photos of himself using the matriculation gown to cook as well as sleep in his house. According to him, he cannot rent the gown for that amount and return it the same day

''How can I rent a gown of 5k for matriculation day and you expect me to return it same day. impossible''he wrote, Observed.

I remember when they asked us to pay N500 for the useless matric gown that can suffocate a full grown man within minutes, I refused to pay, not because I don't have the money, but because I can't in my right senses fork out N500 for such suicidal gown.

So I went to an Anglican Church close to my hostel and as luck would have it, their officiating gown is same color with our matric gown. I plead with the Choir director, and he reluctantly lend me one to return after use.

2010 matric was fun at AAU.

This isn't necessary because whether you use a matriculation/convocation gown or not a typical Nigerian university will force you to pay for it. If you don't pay,you won't graduate. So,in the end you're just deceiving yourself.
