What every African should know.

How do we defeat *racism*, if we ourselves don't understand the difference between " *IMPLICIT* " and " *EXPLICIT* " racism ?

Get informed and learn how to consciously debate or discuss racism if confronted with it.

https://www.verywellmind.com/implicit-bias-overview-4178401

*Get informed about IMPLICIT and EXPLICIT racism...*

_What every black person must know about racism_

*Explicit* racism includes any speech or behaviors that demonstrate a conscious acknowledgement of racist attitudes and beliefs. By contrast, *implicit* racism includes unconscious biases, expectations, or tendencies that exist within an individual, regardless of ill-will or any self-aware prejudices.

Making ourselves to be more conscious about the "Topic" *Racism*

_Simple explanation_ :

Unconscious racial stereotypes are a major example of implicit bias. In other words, having an automatic preference for one race over another without even being aware of this bias.

So any time you imagine that God or Jesus to be White, then there's a lot wrong with you.

I suppose you brought this to the religious section for religionists to gain insight, but there is one global family God gave the power to defeat RACISM:

"JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES"

Go and learn from them, they have formed one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers! Micah 4:1-3 smiley

Your group is not the only one that has members drawn from different parts of the world and are united in worshipping their God. I know of several groups who are far more united and peaceful than yours and they don't make any noise about it.

Inspite of your boast ,,racism is still here with us. If you believe racism has been defeated within your group but it still exist outside of it, then I am afraid you're living in denial.

I rather you looked within yourself and be aware of how you might be contributing to it

Do you have a proof of the underlined?

Can you mention just one group and expatiate on how you come to conclude that they're truly peaceful and united? smiley

Well, I don't think I would like to mention the name of any group since I don't want to promote any

However, there's a member of this forum who post regularly nearly everyday on this board to promote his religious group. He has been here for a long time. You don't find him engaging in any confrontation with anyone . Unlike you, thats in the habit of responding with insults or snide comments, this person has been quietly doing his thing

And having flirted with that group in the past ,I know they have members from different parts of the world who don't discriminate amongst themselves

Infact ,they are more united than any other group that I know and can think of. Maybe I am saying because of my past involvement with them. But the truth is that I witnessed and experienced what I am talking about.

So quit that thinking that your group is the only one where members don't discriminate amongst themselves

Jesus told us to broadcast whatever we hear in the secret on the roof top. Luke 8:16-17
These are fine works the world needs to know about God's people so let's just leave it at that, there is no group on this planet that's united and peaceful like JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES that's why you can't mention any!
I have been to so many lands Sir so i can boast that there's no group of people as peaceful and united like JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES! smiley

This thread wasn't opened to discuss any group fighting racism but to create awareness about the things we unconsciously do as black people to promote it.

This is what the op is all about .Please focus on that so the thread don't get derailed.

I am not going to mention any group as you requested because I don't want to influence anyone joining anything . No group is perfect. They all have their dark side unknown to the public

But I know there better religious organization than JW.. It is your responsibility to find this out for yourself so you can know if your group is lying to you or not.

That is impossible!
According to God's Son the world will continue to get worse and blood by the day {Matthew 24:7 compare to Revelations 6:3-4} it's only his own true followers that will remain peaceful and peaceloving everywhere you find them due to God's holy spirit working with them {John 14:26-27} and they will have LOVE amongst themselves! John 13:34-35
So you can continue with what you're doing but i'm just here to tell you that it's never going to work if truly Jesus is the son of God whose words will never go unfulfilled! Matthew 24:35 undecided

How To Deal With Racism!

Even the world's greatest intellectuals can't find a solution to it, because the one causing it is a REAL Mighty spirit and evil genius who has legions of angels and human agents working with him! Revelations 12:12

May you have PEACE! smiley

I am not against your group or what you think you're doing to eradicate racism but .my aim is to make every black person realise that we might just be unconsciously contributing to racism while claiming to be totally against it.

This is it. How do you know that you're not contributing to racism by your unconscious behavior

I encountered an excellent resource for testing implicit biases. I tested quite well for racism with no implicit bias but my implicit religious bias remains skewed towards Christianity. I was able to gain more insight it my behaviours and it made me appreciate myself more.

Here's the link:

They have a bunch of tests for all sorts of biases. Check it out.

That's what i'm saying!
There are thousands of ways Satan can use to promote racism, the one and only person given the wisdom to conquer Satan's missiles is Jesus of Nazareth.
How many people are studying the Bible to know about him?
Even 99.9% of those claiming Christians don't know anything about Jesus. So it's impossible for unbelievers to unravel the mystery behind racism! smiley

Really? The results fluctuate and should rightly not be used to make important decisions. But here's little Reed in the wind, gaining insight and appreciating himself more based on of course the unstable wind, lol.
When i say you lack joy and can never find true fulfillment outside the true God, you think i am kidding. Don't worry look for more research from your gods to help you appreciate yourself.

If your God has helped you to appreciate yourself better, then you should be in a better position to appreciate others no matter what they stand for.

God's word said Jesus is the wonderful counselor {Isaiah 9:6} that we must listen to in order to produce fine fruits! Matthew 17:5

All i'm saying is that there is a man God sent to the world to help us eradicate racism, failure to adhere to his counseling will never bring people together rather you'll only end up creating more division! Luke 11:23

I'm sorry i only beleive in Jesus' words after studying it diligently, i've come to realize that this guy can save the world {John 4:42} i don't bloody care about his skin colour! smiley

The subject matter of the op is not to discuss the color of your God or Jesus but how we implicitly contibute to racism. If my reference has pricked you, then know that not everyone imagine God or Jesus as white.

BTW why jump in here to attack the personality of Lordreed? Where did that came from?

If you have issues with him before now, has your Jesus ask you to pursue him here.

All what we find is a book written by people we don't know, they claimed it's the word of God, we study what's written, applied it and found out how perfectly it's working out.
Please what sense is there to start asking for the skin colour of those who penned down the writings or the characters?
If not because of JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES Organization and how they have used Jesus' counseling to catch people from all races and made them one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers, there is no reason why i should believe that book called Bible, because everything found written in the book can't be verified apart from the result as JWs practically applied it and it's working!
