AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has said the club will increase their efforts to sign transfer targets Taye Taiwo from Marseille, and Santos playmaker Ganso.

Both men have been strongly linked with the San Siro giants, who won their 18th Scudetto on Saturday night after a 0-0 draw at Roma.

Galliani is already working to bolster the squad, and admits an interest in Taiwo, who has had a stellar season in Ligue 1.

In respect of, Ganso, a move depends on how much Silvio Berlusconi is willing to spend, and Galliani told Sky Sport 24: "We will try to get him [Taiwo] even if he comes without an EU passport.

"For Ganso, they are rich now in Brazil and so it's difficult for them to sell their players. We still have not made an offer."

Meanwhile, reports in La Repubblica claim former Milan star Kaka sent his congratulations to Galliani via text message, in which he reportedly said: "We are the champions of Italy, compliments."

Galliani said of the Brazilian: "The day I sold Kaka I cried. I would do anything for him."

I don't know if Taiye Taiwo's move to Milan is really a good one. I don't know if he'd get enough playing time. He'd have to fight for his place. There's Jankulouski, Zambrotta and Urby Emmanuelson can also fill in at left-back and there's also Didac Vila. I hope he'd get to play regularly.
Phillipe Mexes though, very good buy.

Taiwo will struggle for a place at Milan. He is really past his prime, and should be looking at playing for a club where he is guaranteed a starting eleven shirt.

You guys are right but we never knew which other clubs were bidding for him before going to milan and i think they won't buy him to just sit on the bench. I am hoping he gets to play more and not sit on the bench but i trust him to give it all and win a starting eleven spot.
