POSITION - ACCOUNTING RECEIVABLE SUPERVISOR

JOB LOCATION: VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS

Job Summary
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping and accounting records
• Manage Members Accounts, ensuring Accuracy and Completeness.
• Ensure accuracy and timely recognition and reporting of all generated inflows

Key duties and Responsibilities
• Daily update of DCP’s statement
• Reconciliation of bank statements, clients/contractors’ account and petty cash account
• Making payments (Cash & Cheques)
• Issuing of receipts on confirmed inflows
• Stock Count and supervision
• Data entry on receivables, analysis and report on debtors aging and follow up with relevant staff in sales and marketing on due sales order to ensure payment are received.
• Accurate registration of customers/Members
• Daily recording and update of members account and general members register
• Prompt and timely billing of invoices
• Preparation of receivables reports
• Reconciliation of members/customers’ accounts to the general ledger balances
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis
• Reconcile cash sales to sales order and cash at bank on a daily basis
• Resolve queries on customers account balances and provide account history where necessary.
• Preparation of schedules for external auditors
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of department.

Qualification
• Age 24 – 26 years
• OND (Upper Credit) + AAT Certification
• 6months to 2 years working experience in account receivables role
• Experience in a mid-size audit firm with hands-on experience on Sage50 will be an added advantage
