As Northern Nigeria continues to graduate unqualified quacks, the end result is poor administration, increased poverty (as a result of its large population growth) and constant migration (individuals fleeing, as a result of banditry, herdsman and Boko Haram), all of these things are due to lack of and/or poor education. So I say again, if you call producing halfwits an advantage, then yes. But the truth is, the moment oil loses its relevance or if Nigeria breaks apart before that happens, someone is going to have to deal with the teeming poor in Northern Nigeria, 10s of millions of the poorest people on earth.
