Op I don't think I totally agree with you on this...I know about 3 Igbo men that beat the demon out of their wives, one is from Anambra state, the other Imo and I don't know the state of the last guy.. it has nothing to do with origin but rather personality and maybe exposure..

They are principled and don't like anything that will make them come off as weak as they believe beating a woman is a sign of weakness and we all know igbo men are not weaklings.
