I Want To Relocate To Dubai; A Good Decision? by Odiriance4all(m): 1:04pm On Jul 10, 2021
I am tired of this country , i am planning to relocate to Dubai before this year end for greener pastures
I am a chef , earns 110k after tax here in Lagos, a single guy of 29yrs. The way the economic situations of this country is heading , even if you earn 200k in Lagos one will still manage due to the high inflation Rate in this country
I am a guy that always dream of good life and this present Nigeria cannot offer me that life unless I huzzle illegally, and I don't want to huzzle illegally so the my only option now is to go oversea to work; and Dubai is where I choose because I have friends there who will accommodate me once I arrive

You had better stay back in Nigeria.

With that take home of yours, you will enjoy life here in Nigeria than going to be a liability on friends in UAE.

Enjoy life in Lagos with that money? I don't think so sisterly . what even discouraged me most was when I went to buy a generator last week. I was told the price is 128 thousand, a generator that was 60thousand last 3yrs. The inflation rate of this Nigeria is not encouraging and presently with 1m naira you cannot plan it on good investment because the naira is totally useless

Many times in life, what you want is not what you need.

It's also unfortunate that what you need is not always what you want.

Right now, I'm not exactly sure I know what I want to say to you.....

U better stay back with ur 110k salary.

U want to go to Dubai where you will earn at most 180k per month and pay 50-70k per month for a shared apartment.

Deduct that from ur salary and tell me the difference between Nigeria and Dubai.

My advise to you is try to get a side hustle and save more to go to Europe
