In Abakaliki, they occupy the very centre of the town,living in batchers, shanties and sleeping on top tables and even on the streets.
No new structure or development since the 80s I started visiting there, instead it's getting worse.
Shitting and peeing in gutters,bathing in zinc enclosures just by the roadside.
