You need not advise people to stay away from crime rather it behoves on the government to adapt strategies, laws, and tactics to deter crime.

In essence, if crime is not punished adequately, they will continue to be high crime rate.

In my view, Nigeria should adopt the criminal record and database. That way, people may be discouraged from crime.

If a university in Africa has been producing architects, engineers, building economists and interior designers for over 40 years… and the same university’s modern buildings are designed by Chinese consultants, such a university should just close down.

If a country has been unable to redeem her people from poverty after 50 years of independence and several regime change-overs, maybe such a country should be handed back to her colonial masters or outsource leadership from economies that deliver tangible results for their people, not political rhetoric.

Hard words but facts but still I don't condone Yahoo-yahoo. I have people around who do and it breaks my heart when I see them doing this. I have nothing against them but how do people even have the conscience to live on stolen bread.

I pray that they truly accept Jesus and desist before it is too late. I pray that all these youngsters out there into fraud will understand Jesus truly and repent and may they not go down to hell as thieves.

Much as I don’t support cyber scam, I think it is a good way for persons to make a living out of it. If not for scam, the insecurity in North would have been a child’s play compared to what would have happened in the south. Northerners are stack illiterates that’s why with 5k they are recruited to into Boko Haram.

Shut Up too, there is never a reason to commit crime or do evil.

Jeremiah 17 v 11 - "As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool."

So because Nigeria is a failed state, you want them to run faster than their shadows? and to you going into Yahoo Yahoo will preserve a future for your unborn children?

Egbon better repent and Remember God visits the iniquities of the fathers into the bosom of their children, and upon the children's children unto the third and fourth generation. Exodus 34 v 7
The first crime of modern generation is software piracy.
Using American made software for free here in Nigeria, be it MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD... These are like the cheapst.
They cost in the range from $200 to $1000.
You are expected to pay $200 for one DVD, to install the software one just ONE PC.
So if your office has 4, 5, 10 computers, you should pay $200 x 5 =$1000 for MS word/Excel.
Nigerian Economy is import dependent. That is why we don't have N1 = $1. and our money is of less value.
$1 roughly N500.
We that are already suffering and struggling should still carry N500,000 and give American people again because we want to use MSWord?
Swear now, that you have not patronised pirated software on your PC, in your office or in a business centre.
Those who are going into science and Engineering, who don't even have jobs to see, are supposed to pay $2000 - $5000 for various scientific and engineering software to do their work FOR JUST ONE PC?
How much does a Nigerian company even make? Are they not all even closing down because of no money? Then we should still carry our last remaining money and give American people again to use their softwares?
Sorry, It cannot work..

[s]yahoo yahoo is an epidemic that is ravaging the country with no vaccine in sight, I pity legit hustlers in this country, the intimidation is on another level.
I gave up when a 20 year old boy in my area got 5k dollars and he renovated his father's house from scratch, built a fence and gigantic gate, a borehole and two powerful generators and the parents couldn't question his source of wealth,
dem dey even carry shoulder for the area now

poverty is the worst form of violence..... Mahatma Gandhi

Your stupid leaders have brainwashed u idiots for decades that u no longer have brains. Internet scam isn't the problem corruption is. If the country were to be fair and treated everyone equally and not use Separatism then all these wouldn't escalate to what it is now. Keep shouting yahoo yahoo like a mumu that u have been brainwashed into and don't look inwards. Look at the ministries in all 36 states of this contraption and tell me who wields more power? Who dey on top? Which people get the final say? Even in ur state.. Now they're using herds men to destroy our farms to instil fear and going on killing sprees so we can solely depend on them for food like we do for government appointments and u still think the problem is a bunch of stupid internet fraudsters trying to survive? You're bothered about $5k when that's not even up to the amount of what ur leaders siphon every hour? They are moving everything up north why u fools fight, tear and backstabb each other. One day u will wake up and realise that ur a stranger in ur own land then u will know the real battle that's been going on. Make una continue una mumu undecided

I am amazed at the seconds you used to post this long message after I posted. It means you had it copied to your clipboard! And before one copies a message to clipboard, it is sth you want to be posting frequently to different platforms.

This is fraud.

You have to learn to stop this by following the admonitions above.

I am an academic research writer. I can teach you how to also make the amount I make monthly. I'll teach you for a token that is if you are willing to offer the services honestly to people without defrauding them.

Teaching him for a token is not helping him.

Ten reasons or not, I see no reason why one should opt in for such way of life.

Another thing, some parents are the enabling block behind some of these folks engaging in this act

They'll never understand until some of them visit Kiriki, Kuje or Oko prison.
The sheer number of under 22 rotten away in those prisons is worrisome. Many have no hope of regaining their freedom.
Not even a second chance at life. But the ones working free don't know how close they are to a perpetual jail term
