I hate stories such as these and you know why? Because they give people the wrong reason to do good. For every one of your bank boss who was fired, I am certain there are more than 100 other bosses in this same area who probably did similar to others and got away with it. undecided

Karma isnt a good reason for anyone to be good. Karma seems to fail more times than not. Where God is concerned, one ought to simply do good because it is the right thing to do just the same way those who do bad are convinced it is the "right" thing for them to do. undecided
Chief relax when I mean karma I dont mean revenge or judgement , karma is simply reaping what you've sown, gone are the days whereby ya good for goodness sake, everything you do to people you need to think about how it will come back to you. Like in the story I told if his boss used the time he used in judging the boy to put him thru then not only will the boss be doing good but it would have be an investment on the bosses part, so yea everything you do good or bad think about karma

And nothing will also happen to church members who refused to pay tithes and give offerings in the churches.

But in the real world... you dont always reap what you sow ... that is what I am saying. undecided

Example?

Example?
In the real world, for example, the story you told of what eventually happened to the bank boss is not the norm. Instead what is more likely is that such men go on to greater success and so on. undecided
If you wait around for karma to fight for you, you might wait forever for that to happen. undecided

On one hand... we should help anyone in need in fulfillment of the second greatest commandment!

"Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” - Matthew 22:37-40

On the other hand... one should always do the best that one can, honestly, with whatever resources are available:

"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat." - 2 Thessalonians 3:10 (Also Ecclesiastes 9:10)

Selflessness / Love - in any proper form - is what we should aspire to - "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." - 1 John 4:8

++++++++

"If one of your brethren becomes poor, and falls into poverty among you, then you shall help him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you." - Leviticus 25:35 (Also Leviticus 25:35)

"The righteous considers the cause of the poor, But the wicked does not understand such knowledge." - Proverbs 29:7

"If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your [a]darkness shall be as the noonday." - Isaiah 58:10

"At Joppa there was a certain disciple named [a]Tabitha, which is translated [b]Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did." - Acts 9:36

"The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself." - Proverbs 11:25

"He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, And He will pay back what he has given." - Proverbs 19:17 (Also Proverbs 22:9, Mark 10:21, Luke 3:10-11

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” - Luke 6:38 (Also Luke 12:33-34)

"I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive." - Acts 20:35

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." - 1 Corinthians 13:1-7

"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." - 1 Corinthians 13:13

Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me." - Matthew 25:44-45
