If a siamese twin commits a crime and is to be jailed, what's the fate of the innocent twin?
Will the innocent be jailed too or would the guilty be pardoned because the innocent cannot be jailed?

They would most likely go unpunished. Although I haven't heard of such provisions in any law, but citing about 3 past cases, they would be allowed to go free if the partner maintains innocence.

This brings the issue of sending a pregnant woman to jail. If you jail a pregnant woman, you have jailed an innocent foetus

The Twin as an accomplice would be charged with robbery, assuming they robbed.

So they both can go to jail if found guilty.

What stopped the the so-called innocent one from disagreeing from the onset grin

Is this applicable in Nigeria?
I doubt, because I saw a pregnant woman the last time I visited Prisoners.

Since dem no fit consider their condition, before indulging into crime.the law should be allowed to do its own.
Cos crime na crime.regardless of who dey involved.

Those are the set of people least likely to commit any crime. So what will they go to jail to do? Visit?

What?!
I disagree with you.
The two of them have their separate lives to live and make independent choices and decisions, regardless of their condition.
So, if one chose to commit a crime, the other may not stop him/her for the simple reason that they both are adults and entitled to a living pattern of their choice.
So, if crime is involved, the innocent one should be jailed in your opinion for not stopping the crime?

This reason shaa o

Can't stop laughing.

You're not being logical, and I think it might be because there's no direct provision for this in the law. You are handling it the hoodlum-way

My brother don't forget some actions are spontaneous. The other twin may not be aware before the action is taken. It would be a very technical case in court.

Were they not together when the crime was committed?

You guys with your weird and wild imaginations though.
What even warranted this kind of question in the first place?

All a Siamese twins head will be occupied with is thoughts of summounting the challenges that come with their condition therefore will not have the time to begin to reason crime.

Mind you, they are always been closely monitored and protected by families and caregivers in case they need any assistance. So there's definitely not going to be room for committing any crime whatsoever or even one that would attract national punishment.

Op, fear God o.

Lol @ fear God

Do you watch American horror story; Freak Show?
The show is about them twins...it ain't a figment of imagination at all, it's happening.

Your imagination about siamese twin is limited tho. You think they have to be about surviving their condition whereas they lived past that level already and are participating in shows, doing weird and unimaginable things. Don't surprised.
