I am actually very disappointed with the quality of deliberations on Nairaland!!

Many times I have thought to deactivate my account and just focus on other platforms I belong to but each time I attempt my path just crosses that of an amazing person and I get stuck here for a while longer.

I have gone through every single post on this thread and I am deeply saddened! I was so excited to see this sort of topic at the FP and longing to see how forum members can dissect the information provided and turn it around for good but all I can see here are insults to people’s fathers,tribal/ethnic insults, ICAN vs trade union legality & operations, fake informations on association dues and so on.

The above is why we are where we are as a Nation and why we have the sort of Leaders we have. I strongly believe we deserve them!!!

We ought to be talking really on solutions that can bite gradually into this market(Yes a market it is) there are more informal markets like these across the nations which we must beam touch light on,find a way to solve these bottlenecks gradually and in the long run ensure that there is a clean, clear solution that benefits all along the value chain because this N120+B market does not benefit all as it is.

I know Nairaland is not what it used to be like around 2007, I know many of those guys have since moved on to Twitter and many have become much older now. However, the lack of quality deliberations should not be this glaring and bad.

Lalasticlala is this and that,he is for only snake topic and rubbish …now he has delivered N120+B topic to the table and here we are!!!
Before I forgot, a guy called me from the east yesterday after reading my post and shared an interesting solution solving some transport money collection issue but in the EAST…great thinking and I think we should share more of that here!

Lastly,I will continue to chip in something to keep this tread alive just so that someone might get the inspiration to kick into this and become rich providing solutions.

**NB** if I hear any one on this platform complain of no job again(Women exempted)…if I hear!!!!

So, when are you guys doing an analysis of the amount paid to Agberos in Enugu, Abia, Rivers, Anambra, Kano, Abuja etc? Abi NURTW only exist in Lagos?

Analysis like this would make a lot of sense if it was done all over the country or at least in some selected states so that we can do a comparative analysis. So, why single out Lagos state?

Btw, NURTW is a trade Union. Trade Unions and professional bodies charge their members huge sums annually. As a member of ICAN, I pay 30k to the institute as annual subscription. I still pay for conference, AGM and faculty due without complaining. So, are members of NURTW complaining? Who forced them to be members of the union?
Lagos is home to 20m people. Its the commercial hub of nigeria.
It's sad they need to explain this to you.

When it's time to point out the failings of Igbo state you start claiming tribal but if it is to insult Tinubu now the entire Alaigbo will be agog with foolishness.

ICIR not IGBO...
Even ICIR chairman is yoruba
Everything shouldn't be tribal, some people sef. undecided

BigDawsNet:

Why can't the Lagos government create atleat 3millions job every each year for graduate/non graduate inside that same N122b....

Why is that so difficult to accomplish

Those folks you call dirty and smelling Agberos with dirty teeth are citizens of Nigeria. They are employees of NURTW. They also deserve a chance to work and make a living out of the system just like clean and fresh folks like you. They are simply doing the job they were employed to do.
Yes Sir I agree but what is the benefit?

I don't even know

Most of them have kids and wives
