Pls I have a neighbor that his daughter is extremely intelligent, has been given double promotion twice yet she complains about the school being boring, she is 7 years old yet is already talking about creating apps n discussing SS 1 geography. Pls is there any school in Nigeria that can accommodate such a child? God bless you all.

So so many of them. Some schools like ISL actually have special set for the gifted.

You can get one in jigawa state built by the former governor lamido... it's very good with even white people running it

There’s something called Federal Government Academy, Suleja (Centre for the gifted and talented). I don’t know what’s up with it now but, as at my time back in the day, it had already been bastardised with nepotism and fraudulent different cut offs for different folks and the quota system. Let’s not visit the perennial issues of poor funding and staff welfare. Kidnapping of school kids in those parts these days would make me prefer to send my kids to school in Cotonou or Lome.

ISL is International School Lagos. It’s right by the 2nd gate of Unilag in the Yaba Area of Lagos State. You might want to specify what state you are in.

Yeah I won't advice too... I'm still in the state though the most religious state in Nigeria as a Christian you are a moving target all the church you know have small lands as the state government and individuals don't want to sell for church

International School Lagos, University of Lagos (UNILAG ) ,Akoka- Yaba. Not a boarding school though.
Like I stated, there are quite a few of them even outside Lagos like Abeokuta Grammar school,
Suleja Academy, There used to be one I know in my high school days then called Iganmode High School too always blazing the trail nationally but don't hear much of them now probably because I am not in the field.
Btw, I have personally been privileged to have products of these schools as university class mates. One of them, my university sweetheart is my spouse today partly because of this high quality of training, self discipline and brilliance these guys have. These schools are topnotch schools for gifted folks and till date still marvel at my spouse's O'level result during such era of no orijo. Those results you think are fables. That's why I encourage folks to attend great universities and get admitted into top courses , especially any of the first 5; UNN, ABU, UNILAG, Ife and UI

For honourable mentions, I had few gifted mates who finished from nms, Kings College, Remo Secondary School, some FGC like Odogbolu, FGGC like Shagamu (Shaggy Girls) , and Loyola College. So there are quite a few schools for the gifted here in Nigeria. Even for British curriculum as well!

I thought you meant school for special kids like Autistic kids would have suggested a special school in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka for you, the school I think is being managed by the Guidiance and Counselling department of the school.



Better still,

Go to Nsukka, there are some 'special schools' there kids... That Town is made for Academic.
