Hello, I reside in Ibadan and very recently, last week to be precise my dad was diagnosed with ischemic stroke. He recognizes people and no memory is lost. Speech is better now but the inability of the left side of his body to move. Is it possible to prevent future reoccurrence once he's better?

The bitter fact about it, is that, one in four stroke survivors experience a second stroke within five years, and these can worsen functional outcomes.
