I seem to have lost faith in Nigerian security apparatus. I don't believe anything that comes from them. If you give a policeman a ride, he leaves bullets in your car and calls the colleagues at the next roadblock stop you. I don't know why I'm having a feeling something is fishy about this arrest

I wonder why it is so difficult to go after those Fulani terrorists marauding southern Kaduna but it very easy for our law enforcement officers to arrest indigenes who are trying to acquire weapons for self defence.......
Southern Kaduna people can no longer keep common machete at home without being arrested by the joint task force stationed in the region..... God will surely bring an end to these genocide going on in Southern Kaduna and environs.

If he's really a suspect, investigate and take him to court.

However, I'm yet to see the terrorist herdsmen and co paraded with their weapons. But it's easier to rush to the public with one Geoffrey. This shows some authorities in the police are members of the network of evil.

Is this AK47?

This is just a locally made weapon
that these Southern Kaduna indigenes
are sourcing to defend themselves against
the well armed & government supported
Fulani who are gradually killing driving them
off Thier ancestral lands.

Fulani move freely about with machine
find & AKs, but they never get arrested.

This is neither an SKS or S12K. It's a locally produced SMG that uses standard AK mags chambered in 7.62 × 39. They have been turing up a lot lately around that Kaduna - Jos axis where the local gunsmiths have upped their game to meet local demands for more durable weapons.

The gun is locally made. Na wa o. So people have started crafting assault rifles in Nigeria.

Yep. This is a full auto submachine gun locally made to use standard AK mags. I've seen a lot of semiautomatic pistols locally made as well. The downside to these locally made guns is the barrel being smooth bore so there is Zero accuracy and range on this things. I guess it's a matter of time before they get to figure that out and fix it.

You know guns, dude. You're right about the smooth bore's inaccuracy and range. You said there are locally made semi auto pistols too. Wow. Are they made in the Awka or the North? I have a feeling theyau ne of Northern origin because those guys are kinda good with metals.

Yea I know a thing or two about guns. I'm also a contributor on an international blog on the seizures of craft production weapons. I'm a collector and a firearms enthusiast.
The semi auto pistols that have being turning up have been quite impressive and the skills to manufacture them likely brought in by guys who learnt the art abroad. At least one gunsmith that was arrested claimed to have learned the art in Mauritania while another set were from Benue state. The info regarding production of this self loading pistols is still a bit sketchy but time will certainly reveal a lot more.
