Good day everyone. Please, I made a transaction of 5k from a POS terminal which failed but I was debited. After two days, I didn't receive a reversal from my bank. I later went to the bank to file a dispense error complaint to the customer care who assured me to hold on for 2 weeks to get a reversal. 2 weeks passed, no reversal. I went back to the same bank to complain again, she said she had sent my complaint to the head office but they are yet to respond. She sent a reminder for it and advised I be patient to get a reversal. Its 2 months gone now and I'm yet to get a reply. Last week, I had to contact my bank via mail to make my complaint and I was replied that it's been processed. I also tried using the bank's website, I was told that my transaction has been logged (I don't know what this means). I also tried using the chat platform on their web which I was told the same things.

Please, is there any way I can get this reversal. Since May, and its August already.

I dont really know wat to advise but wen u recover ur money,change bank.use firstbank.it takes only about 3 working days to resolve issues.

Moreover,are u sure the money did not reverse to the pos dealer again?

I doubt that because he collected my contact in order to call me if it reversed back to him. Moreover, if the transaction had reversed, my bank would have stated it that it reversed already.

I don't know what to do at this point

same thing happened to me and it was reversed after 2 weeks. go to your bank and also have the pos agent call his customer care
