Igemburg:

Lol, you think you can spoil my business?
Funny you. I have sold on this platforms and other platforms on this same nairaland over the years.

Phones can develop issues, it's electronics. I have bought a new Xiaomi phone for a customer before and refused to come up the following day, the advantage that one has is that it has warranty and it was returned.

"I sold a UK used pixel 3xl to a customer in Kaduna about 2 months ago, after a week it started having issues, he doubted me before but later he checked the IMEI online and it shows that it's actually used in US. I asked him to send it over, we checked and it was software, after Flashing another ROM on it, it works fine "

A phone you bought from me, I tested it here and was working fine, you claimed it has issues that the phone goes of at 30%, I asked you to send it back ( Reason for asking you to send it back is for me to check well and see that it has not been abused over there and provide solutions to it) you refused to send it back, you assumed it's battery, I bought battery for 8k, send it with ₦2,100, of which my gain on the phone is just 6k, I sent the battery to maintain peace and you told me after putting the new battery the same thing happens. This sign leads to a software glitch coz have experienced such with a pixel 3 before.

If you have agreed to send the phone back, if it's tested that the phone problems cannot be solved, would have given you another phone or refund your money. If not that you have another motive, why didn't you send back the phone, if you have done that we won't be having this discussion today.

So how did I scam you? A scammer will not even respond to you. Peeps that doesn't know the genesis of this talk now will jump into conclusion and think I'll of me. GUY ABEG YOU BACK OFF MY CASE, YOU CLAIMED YOU ARE DONE WITH SCHOOL BUT YOU DOING LIKE AN ILLITERATE. WISE UP BRO!

It is your "I am authentic" that's putting you in trouble and making life hard for we the other sellers. Stop it!

If your conscience is clear, advertise item and describe any issues worth mentioning. Buyer must understand that after you give them item they are on their own. They can test item from morning to night, no problem. But after they buy it, abeg don't come and tell me anything. I sell cameras. I've seen how some people test my item they've not even paid for. I always seize my thing from them and "help them" test it. Imagine what they'll do if I'm not there. If they like all the guarantees, I love how you yourself explained warranty; they should go to shop and buy new with warranty. The things I bought from people in America that have problem they didn't tell me about, shey I will now return item to them? It's up to me to solve any issues I find in the items I bought. Nigerian people wey dishonesty is their second name. Somebody has bought lens from me from Owerri before. Whether he wanted to use for one weekend gig I no know. 2 weeks later he say lens no work well. How? He can not describe. Okay, send a video showing how it malfunctions. I still have the video if you want to see it. He didn't even attach the lens to camera to test anything. He don see mugu.

These useless bastards want everything that comes with a brand new item, but they want to pay 20% of the cost of new item. Brand new item is sold with warranty in the developed world BECAUSE they have factored the cost of the few that might develop issues in their pricing of the items. These Nigerian barbarians, if they ever pay for insurance, all of them would want something to happen so that insurance will pay them. They don't understand how anything works in modern society; they're only interested in "how only me go collect everything". That's why Nigerian society is a shambles. They've killed my business because they can always find people like you.

I have suffered in their hands because of people like you, and I used to be like that too, before I learnt hard lesson and adjust.

To God who made me, the moment I received the phone and I started using it. It will just go off at intervals. I was still at home them. Which I informed him immediately. He said he didn't notice that. I was like, phone that was with you, not even a new phone, how won't you know. He kept postponing me till I went back to school. Meanwhile the problem still persist. That's when he said he thinks it's the battery.

We were still on the issue till the phone die on it's own while using it. At first I thought it was the usual ON and OFF ooo. I tried charging it, the phone refused to show up.. e shock me..

My only saving grace was, I was yet to transfer my documents/files to the phone..

I bought new charger the following day.. still same.. didn't work. That's when I knew this guy played a fast on me.... I was confused.. because this was the phone I planned to use for my project ooo. My samsung has screen issue.

Good morning guys, came across some pixel tips we might not know, see below

1. Add captions to videos with Live Caption

Did you know that your Pixel phone can automatically caption videos, podcasts, phone calls and more? Press the volume button and tap the Live Caption icon, which looks like a tiny box of text, to enable this feature. Live Caption works in English on the Pixel 2 and higher, so it should be available on any Pixel phone that's launched in the last five years. The captions are stored and processed locally and never leave your device, according to Google.

You can also tweak certain settings, such as hiding profanity and adding labels to sounds like laughter and applause. Open the Settings and choose Live Caption to customize these options.

2. Translate a screenshot in a different language

You can translate screenshots with text written in languages such as Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian and more with Google's Lens feature. Open the Google Photos app and select the screenshot you would like to translate. Then tap the Lens icon, which looks like a camera, and choose the Translate option. Google's support page says this feature should work on Android devices in general, not just Pixels.

3. Switch to the selfie camera without pressing any buttons

You don't have to tap any buttons to switch between the Pixel's selfie camera and main camera. Simply open the Pixel's camera app and twist your phone twice to flip between the cameras. If you're not sure what I mean by "twist," Google has a helpful animation to show you.

If you're still having trouble, check your Pixel's settings to make sure this feature is enabled. Open the settings app, choose System and select Flip camera for selfie.

4. Open an app or take a screenshot by tapping the back of your phone

Add a handy shortcut to your Pixel phone with Google's Quick Tap feature. This allows you to open an app, take a screenshot, play or pause media, or show notifications just by tapping twice on the back of your phone. It only works on more recent Google phones like the Pixel 4A 5G and later.

To turn on Quick Tap and customize its actions, open the settings menu and choose System. Then, select Gestures and Quick Tap. From here, turn Quick Tap on and select which action you'd like to perform when tapping the back of your device.

Number 4 is however not supported on my Pixel 4xl. And it does not appear to be supported in the country.
