The bigger question should be how come a tiny region totally landlocked is holding the second largest black nation in the world by it balls is it that being landlocked and tiny is no longer a limitation?

The crisis is basically a tribal slugfest.

Same way Fulanis are minority tribe and holds Hausa, Yoruba and Ibo by the balls

They managed to move almost all military installations to their strong hold like Kaduna, leaving other territory weak and defenseless

@OP thinking about this post, and some replies, what I can say is that if the north decided to leave Nigeria as it is maybe as a result of oil running dry or them finding wealth, they will cause so much degradation to the south. I think it is the same dynamics in Ethopia. Having held power for so long, and strategically placing military equipment and all, coupled with a willing population to be conscripted, the same dynamics s should play out.
