Please I need assistance here to know if I can go ahead, if advisable... After a major engine work, which my mechanic did a good job, the car has refused to start... I've called like 3 Electricians with diagnostic computer, they all pointed to the hybrid side which none has been able to resolve.... Error code: P0A7A The Hybrid system can't start. Not that my inverter is bad... Error code: P0A7A I'm based in Oyigbo, Rivers state. I'm considering converting it to normal Highlander... Please kindly Educate me on what I should know and all that I will require (Parts to purchase) to convert from hybrid to Normal SUV. Thanks as you Help..

megafox: The engine won't start Lai Lai. Check Gazzuzz profile, go to his topics, look for Camry hybrid build and go through his hybrid engine rebuild for his Camry, how he did it would point you to how he started that engine. Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, reconnect and restart. When you start press brake and then the start button hold it down for 30 seconds 1 Like |

The ready light is not coming up . It only flashes and goes out . It try to crank but won't. |

megafox: The highlander hybrid doesn't have a starter motor, the engine needs cannot be satisfied by the battery pack because the engine needs more time to crank than usual and only a starter motor can give you that. If you actually read through that thread you did know why the car won't start, your technician would have to be a genius to find away round it. The Error code still points to the hybrid system. Let a qualified hybrid Mechanic check it 4 U |
