Good evening ladies and gents. Please i'll like to know the possible reason why acer laptops seem to be cheaper than it's hp or dell counterpart of almost the same specifications. And what what are the disadvantages of owning one(Acer). Thank you.

Why is Toyota cheaper than benz.. because of cheaper parts

Same with acer.. acer doesn't use every single spec that HP or dell use, instead they cut budget

For example a HP and Acer laptop may seem to have the exact same spec but if you look closely maybe they have an inferior display or speaker etc.
Acer cut budgets on things people dont notice

Only a laptop display can make it 200k more expensive
Like HP spectre with 4k display, even tho it doesnt have graphics card it's still 500k

its what you re generally familiar with or been seeing, there are high end Acer laptops too, with higher configuration specs, that are expensive. majorly acer focuses on budget laptops, the cheap plastics materials used, poor and same similar boring keyboards, poor quality chips, screens, board e.t.c compare to the good quality used by hp or dell, even in their low budget laptops, that is why acer is very cheaper. because of the poor quality materials used. a hp laptop of similar or same specs, processor, graphics, ram e.t.c with acer will perform well because their chips are original quality compared to acer fake and low standard chips.
