Port Harcourt Mayor Kick-start Youth Empowerment Skills Acquisition, Two Days After He Employed About 140 SSAs And SAs.

Over 200 Port Harcourt Youths enrolled for entrepreneurship, trade, skills and acquisition development, as the Port Harcourt City Local Government Chairman, Sir Allwell Ihunda (JP) Kick-start the engagement scheme, which will be coming in batches; geared to train hundreds of youths in Port Harcourt City.

This comes two days after the chairman released the list of about 140 SSAs and SAs he appointed.

The Rivers State Governor, His Excellency Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike will definitely be happy with the new Mayor who is in the right path to fulfill his cardinal focus and objectivity centred on Job creation, Security, Environmental Sanitation, Education and Sports.

The Commissioner of Youth and development in Rivers State, Prince Obi Ohia applauded the Chairman for initiating such laudable program to empower the youth of PHALGA and charged the beneficiaries to participate in this training with total commitment hence he advised the Chairman to employ effective monitoring and mentorship in other to achieve the desired purpose of the program.

The flagoff was engraced by many dignitaries.
