Two Ebonyi Communities Agrees To End Age long Communal War



THE ELDERS OF IKWO AND IZZI HAVE AGREED TO PERMANENTLY END THE LONG LASTED BLOODY COMMUNAL CRISIS BETWEEN THE TWO COMMUNITIES OF EBONYI STATE WHICH HAS CLAIMED LIVES OF HUNDREDS AND DISPLACED THOUSANDS FROM BOTH SIDES.

Report according to Ebonyipeople.com has it that Ikwo and Izhi traditional council of elders have arrived ellinwovu for the traditional rituals over the age long communal clashes between the two clans. The traditional rituals proclaimed automatic death upon anybody from either of the communities or strangers from elsewhere who may attempt to provoke the crisis by killing, abduction or in any other kind capable of inciting both clans to engage in another communal war such that has occurred before.
By this way, peace is permanently enthroned among the brotherhood clans of Ikwo Noyo and Izhi Nnodo in Ebonyi state.
This historic method works faster and more efficient than using corrupt Nigerian police or the evil politicians to settle communal clashes.
This method is more effective in dealing with the offenders, some clans and communities in Ebonyi state that doesn't engage in war and any clash which will result in shading each others blood always enter into this ritual of covenant (Nmeru) with this permanent peace will be achieved.
The people of Ikwo and Izhia in Ohaukwu LGA as well as Ezza people and Izhia as well as Ngbo that are descendants from Izhia are into this covenant that's the reason the above mentioned communities in Ebonyi state can not engage in war or any form of clash that will result to seeing each others blood for any reason or whatsoever.
Some are not into the covenant because of the high effectiveness of it in dealing with any breaker of the covenant, but it's the fastest means of ending all forms of communal crisis especially bloody war in the society.

They are making peace after Fulanis have exterminated majority of their indigenes.

Wow I'm so excited for this opportunity, I pray permanent peace return to this communities and clans, the people of Cross River should do same, where there's peace there is always a progress. May their faith lead them, the church failed in that community and the mosque failed woefully too a d guess what the tradition stands and the way of the tradition would be followed for the eternal peace. The Ekuma~Enyi descendants aka Ndi Abakeleke/Abakaliki made of Ezza(Ezza north & south) , Izhi(Ebonyi, Izzi and Abakaliki LGs, Ikwo[ Ikwo local govt) Mgbol'Izhia (Ohaukwu local govt) clans should sheathe their waring swords, unite and champion their future.
