In International politics there is nothing that will make a country help another one without implicit or explicit benefit such country will gain from it. To be candid, no country should look on other country for help on matters that has to do with security. For example American soldiers cannot be in Afghanistan forever, if Afghanistan soldiers cannot stand to defend their territory no other military can do so. All US can do is to support. You cannot expect a soldier from New Mexico for example to know the terrain of Afghanistan than an Afgan soldier
