This majorly happens to new account owners but is not limited to only new bank account owners.

What they do
These guys call/text your mobile number giving a reason why they have to debit you.
POSSIBLE REASONS: YOUR ACCOUNT IS UNDER ATTACK, YOU NEED TO DO ATM CARD MAINTENANCE OR THEY GIVE ANY OTHER REASON AT ALL AS IT RELATES TO YOUR BANK.

2. They will proceed to call your bank account information, this includes your BVN, account number and even some part of your CARD number, and the name on your card probably. Believe Me, they do not know enough to debit you.
