We are 6 in family. 3 boys and 3 girls. My dad couldn't not train any of us to University level.
He only trained my mum. He also trained my elder brother and elder sister just secondary school level. . Finish. He retired when my eldest brother finished secondary school.

He left all the bills to my eldest brother and mum.

Even though my father was a teacher and ended up as headmaster.

He could not do family planning.
He could not afford to train the rest of us.
We dear not ask him for money. He will start shouting. I trained your mother. I trained your brother. U people should leave me alone.

He did not contribute a dime during my University days. It was very painful shaa.
Thank God for my mum o. She is a super woman.

I was the last born in the family.
My question is why do parents bring innocent children to this world without proper planning.

Why given birth to 6 children?
Though I told him he could have just given birth to 3 children. But each time I tell him. He gets angry.

Even though I am doing well as an Engineer now. Each time I remember my father's mistakes. I just laugh. African mentality.

As a young man please Dont do that stupid mistake of giving birth to too many children.

Nobody go tell anybody say make he nor born pass two. Buhari's government alone, is enough reason for any young family to stick to having just one child.

What will be will be. Whether two or dozen a child that will make it in life will surely make it in life.

Grace my brother that is what came through for you.

Don't blame the old man he did what he thought was right for him. He made his decision maybe due to ignorance or not but he did. In our lives we also make wrong decision too but grace covers for us sometimes so..

Take care of the old man as you should and stop laughing at him son.

If you can afford to give the best quality of life to the six kids, please go ahead and have those six, but in the current social realities the world over, it is better to have what your pocket can afford. It is the height of selfishness to bring kids into the world and abdicate their responsibility to others.
