Even though we have heard this situation numerous times, no one has come forward to tell us exactly how it happens, not even the “impregnator” can explain to us how he managed to mistakenly impregnate someone’s daughter. But that is what I am here for. To give you the nitty-gritty detail of how a man mistakenly impregnates a woman.

Firstly, you must understand the way a baby is conceived—the way the foetus is formed. It first begins with the sperm. The sperm cell that is contained in the semen—a fluid emitted by the male specie unites with the egg— which is produced by the female specie forming a zygote which slowly develops into what we call a baby! Some of his fluid got on the door handle (or was it the railings again) and this poor girl you are calling a street girl touched it and you know how our people here find it hard to wash their hands and then somehow somehow, it got into her privates ( PS Try not to touch anything in the bank Biko! Your son, unknowingly rubbed his something with a girl of equal age as his’ something. So don’t be harsh on these kids and begin saying to them how much of a disappointment they are.

What I am saying in essence is that, it is not every time, your mind should be thinking the man was involved in one sex romp or the other, or that he purposefully betrayed the covenants of your marriage or that your son is unserious and a disappointment to the family. There are 1001 ways these things can happen. Create excuses for him before he even makes them. On the other hand, I wonder why it is always the man that must assume responsibility when these things happen. It must be the man that admits to the “mistake”.
