On 25th July when BBN show started Abeg app had 10,000+ downloads. 2 weeks into August it was 100,000+ downloads. And today 26th August it has 500,000+ downloads. Big Brother Naija has become the biggest advertising platform for brands in Nigeria and Africa. So any amount of money you heard being paid for sponsorship might likely not be a rumour. My projection is that by the end of September they will have 1-2 million downloads on Play Store.  PS: These numbers are based on my study.
