What is that strange thing you were ever told in religion, which you find odd and non believable?

To me I think there is a poverty mentality mostly in Nigerian christainity, associating holiness , with being poor..

Nonsense... There is no odd or poor mentality in any religion. If it is odd and strange then ask the leaders and followers of such congregation where they are having their revelation from. It is definitely not from God and hence not should be associated with the religion but the leaders of such....
