There are insurance programs that come with a burial plan aka "death benefit" for instance.

They aren't to be blame at times. Their parents/guidians probably got it wrong at a point of nurturing them. The parents/guidians are not to be blamed also. Afterall, there are parents who provided everything for their child/ren/wards and they all turn out well

Nevertheless, parents should educate their wards on finances. Teach them prudency, learn a skill, volunteer et al

Raise kids that would resist peer pressure at sight, that won't succumb to social media affluence, whose environment will not be a determinant factor and many more

Your point is valid and true for many cases, however, I haven't seen parents who went to jail for what their kids did on their own, meaning parents may fail in their responsibilities, but the child is ultimately responsible when they are adults. There are other people in same category who decide to take a better direction. Children are sent to school, some decide to go bully others and get kicked out, some decide to sit in class and learn, both coming from similar backgrounds.

There was a set of twins, both brilliant, same home, same upbringing. One was a bully and truant while the other was well behaved and one of the best.

Have been in worse, but you know what I did? I surrendered all to jesus ( if you are not a christian this might not be for you) and I was able to tell my family what I have done and then I have peace. I'm in a better place now , and I'm full of hope. Is one if those things that comes with being a youth . But some mistake are irredeemable. They have everlasting impact . But that doesn't mean we can't start all over again. Go to your family tell them what you have done then You will have true peace and your burden will be lifted.
Start by telling someone you are close to in the family, that person will escalate it. In my own case , I told my elder sister first , and trust me she did a good job escalating . And the day I found out my dad was aware of what I had done , that is the day my peace that passesth all understanding started still date . My dad and I are paddies now . So op speak to someone and you will be fine .
