Jesus Christ never prescribed marriage as solution for one's sins so do not be deceived by the many out there who lie to you that marriage is solution. Instead what Jesus Christ said is the only way to be free of bondage to sin is through continual submission to and obedience of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, the Truth of God.

I do all these already sir. I've accepted Jesus too, being baptised in the Holy Spirit too. I don't understand why my own Christian life seems otherwise.

Jesus Christ said in Matthew 15 vs 10 - 20 that that which causes us to sin comes from what we have stored up in our hearts. You say you obey Jesus Christ in other things but why can't you add this to it?

You say a spirit takes over you but you forget that the sin here is not when your body performs the acts but the lust in your heart

Good day everyone, I have had this problem since I was in SS2 - about 15 years old. I was in a Biology class that fateful day and the teacher was treating the Reproduction System.

He mentioned the male s*men and asked how many of us had seen it before - it was a public school in Lagos. I was a completely ignorant person about sexuality before then, so he said we could use our hands to stroke our p*n*s to see what a male semen looked like. That was the genesis of my problem.

Engaging in the act from the start was out of innocence and curiosity to see what a s*m*n looked like. I was having my bathe that evening when I tried it with the soap lather. In about 15-20 minutes, I discovered my legs were weak and some thick substance got discharged. I had it out and felt it was some kind of discharge I needed to keep engaging in to ease my body, so I repeated it the next day.

Coupled with my classmates engagement in porn, I got inducted into watching pornography as well. It became hell. I watched porn and masturbated continually. Sometimes, I masturbated up to 5 times daily. But they still called me Pastor because my struggles were in secret.

It was that serious and worse to a point I got almost dehydrated. This went on, until I got saved after Reinhard Bonnke's farewell crusade in 2017.

After my salvation, I got baptised in the Holy Spirit and was able to stay away from the act for about a month. I was even happy that I had finally been delivered from the act.

Going into the next month, it resurfaced again and the struggle came up. I was always sad after every masturbation and always wondered why I still struggled after salvation.

I asked the Holy Spirit to make me impotent till I was ready for marriage. It didn't happen until I drifted off the faith after a while following up some indoctrination by some atheist-peers.

While off the faith, I got involved in a lot of sex engagements, outside masturbation with public sex workers.

To shorten the story, I got restored to the faith back and things has been difficult like when I left. I am still battling with masturbation, even though the law of God written on my heart tells me it is wrong. I have prayed, fasted, read the word to get myself off the hook but nothing seems to be working. At a point, I tied my p*n*s with a rope but never worked.

Worst of it is that I have a calling and everything looks really confusing in finding fulfillment. The highest I've gotten over masturbation was a month of walking in the spirit and feeling alright with God, then the masturbation shows up again.

I have gone through the internet to seek solutions. Two answers I got was:
1. staying out of the act or
2.getting married.

I have always tried staying out but that has failed, even applying the Word of God. Getting married would have been the best since I have someone but I have financial constraints.

Right now, I am stucked between what to do and even how to pray. I don't know whether asking God to still deal the masturbation or for finances to get married would do.

The masturbation thing has hindered me greatly from God and my purpose. Please I need advise from Christians. Don't come here to justify masturbation - I know it is bad. Thank you.

the same car na him we dey...see sometimes the thoughts will enter ur mind without u noticing it...guy i'm on constant fast now.,.now know something without an iota of doubt...humans not genuinely under christ are controlled/manipulated by demonic spirits especially sex demons,so no matter how beautiful or respected a lady or man is if they start dressing seductively,or saying sexual words,or acting in a sexual way just know that this things u r seeing dem doing or hearing them say will influence u to think or imagine sex,that's how men's mind are captured by the forces of darkness,everywhere u go u sex people talking about sexual immorality like it's nothing,their minds have been blinded,so the first thing u should know is that you want to serve GOD not man,and Satan is ruling this life through sins especially sexual sins1.and to fight the war begins in your mind,i hope you know demons fear the name of Jesus,so when the thoughts come pray into your thoughts using the name of Jesus and commanding the thoughts to stop in Jesus,read the bible everyday remember eph 6 v 12,2 Corinthians 10v4-6, you need to fight,if those things see that you are determined they will start giving you sex dreams ,you know dreams store in the mind,so you can think about it and commit sexual immorality again,so next mind what you read,hear and watch,this are the gates demons use to access your soul.pray and consistently read the bible,have it at the back of your mind you are fighting spirits and not men.. .crucify the flesh...

I know my love for Christ is demonstrated by my obedience to him. I obey him in other areas, but this masturbation seems like it is a spirit. I'm not sure.

Whenever the urge comes, my body becomes abnormal and my will is gone. Those struggling with this act would understand me better.

Kobojunkie picks and choses when or when not, to be a bible literalist and then creates arguments for the sake of just arguing and be defiant
