He made radio cassettes revealing some of the plots they hatched to stop the growth of Christianity in Nigeria. He even alleged that they abducted Christian girls, converted them to Islam, and married them off. This man was a Muslim who hated Christians so passionately that when some Christians heard that he had become a believer, they were still afraid of him.

I listened to the audio for more than an hour and I was speechless and scared. The way Muslims plot against Christians in Nigeria, you would think we are at war with them. I am not saying there aren't times when Christians attacked Muslims in the North. There are but be rest assured that it is in reprisal. There are parts of the North that are divided between Muslim quarters and Christian quarters. Muslim hawkers, cobblers, tailors, etc come to Christian areas to do business, but we dare not go to their area. A Christian who wanders into a Muslim area has a death wish.

If you understand Hausa, please get the cassettes or CDs of Ustaz Abduallahi Bakona. The man couldn't have made up some of the things he said. What shocked me was that he implicated MKO Abiola as one of those who bought Bibles and burnt them to stop the growth of Christianity in Nigeria. This man couldn't have made up these stories. As I said, he was an influential imam who had orchestrated attacks against Christians in the North. He was also rich, so it is very unlikely that Christians bribed him to convert.

Are there things about MKO Abiola we didn't know about. I know we all consider him to be the best president Nigeria never had. Was he a religious fanatic? Did Hausa/Fulani Muslims saw him as a willing tool to achieve their goals?
