In due time graduates of norther universities would be known as below average students who gained admission via below average cut off marks

Itf handled well, and northern universities are merit driven, it will be similar to what obtains in USA. Where schools will offer you admission whether you chose them or not because they want smart students with them, the student will now chose like a bride

NYSC cannot give that option. That is against the foundation of NYSC. It was specifically formulated to FORCE university graduates into other remote parts of Nigeria, where they will NEVER HAVE GONE in their life. It is part of national orientation.
If you don't want to travel, then just kukuma don't do NYSC.

Jamb cut off mark has always been useless because even if you make the cut off mark, if you write post jamb or post utme, and you don't meet the school's cut off mark for the course you're aspiring to study you won't be admitted.

As long as students still write Post-UTME, I would always say that UTME is useless. I see JAMB as IGR body.
