Whenever we meet new clients they usually narrate their various encounters with their previous tailors. And they will say hope you you guys are not like that o...
One of the major issues with Nigerian tailors is keeping to time, disappointment grin.....
Please feel free to state your encounters/challenges

Poor customer service. Poor planning. Greed. Poor communication skills. My suit is not going to be ready as agreed, instead of giving me days notice so I can make alternative arrangements, you wait till I come to your shop to collect the suit 2 days before the event, then you start apologizing and expect me to understand that work was too much on you.

Imagine one came to mkt herself for me, I gave clothes to sow, only for her to turn up with what I can't even imagine. I complained, she said I should please manage it , in her words' please manage it, shebi it's just casual wear' shocked.

I have never heard something so absurd in my entire life.

They hardly deliver their work as at when due . They overcharge their customers, the best thing is to keep changing tailors till you find the right one.

I do respect my self and call my tailor first before coming to pick my even though she is the one that gave me that date and I will have to lie that l'm going to use it a week before my real date to avoid heartbreak.

Useless taylors all-over the place.

There is no truth in them not even good morning.

I gave one of them my material in October and warned him not to join me with December people and he promised to deliver it on 10th of Nov,till date I dey beg my Taylor to release my clothes whether sewn or not.

He called asking me if I am travelling...can u imagine.

I will arrest him soon and he will help to disappoint more people.
So that all of us go do Christmas without new Christmas clothes.

Craze people everywhere.

Criminal like you sef dey sey arrest am...

Don't let this nonsense cap this fool does, deceive you oh. This is what you will get (as seen in the screenshot below) when you order for the so called Fila Gobi cap- sight the difference?

And I told the fool to snap a full picture of the cap after he's done, yet he kept sending me ridiculous photos of the cap, begin talk say na because of lighting of the camera. Shey na lighting also cut off the important aspect of the picture?

Now to the aspect of waybilling, I initially asked him how much to ship from Igbogbo, Ikorodu where his shop is, to Sango Ota in Ogun State, and he said atleast 1.5k, I said no problem.

I however got a job to do in a hospital today at Aboru estate, and directed him to send it there today instead, and he said no problem. Only for the courier guy to call me and tell me the shipping is 3k!

I messaged the cap maker back, and he told me Yes it's 3k for Aboru, Iyana-Ipaja. I now believe he and the courier guy are together on this.

How much I take do cap sef? Is he going to spend 3k on transportation from Igbogbo in Ikorodu to Aboru estate in Iyana-Ipaja because of one nonsensely done cap?
So what's the essence of waybilling then? Isn't it meant to save transportation cost and stress?

This guy go fit use this nonsense cap scam enough people of their hard earned money, as I believe he can't do shit, he can't make any of the caps he's displaying here, and he probably just screenshots pictures to paste here and hoodwink people into buying whatever rubbish he is selling.

As if that's not enough, he wants to further rip me of extra 3k as shipping fees for the nonsense he claims he making; for this Nigeria, wey things hard.

I've chosen to sacrifice the 5k in his hands, and bring his case here for nairalanders to help us settle.

Oloribu eda.
