using of phone while charging, and apps running in background is usually what causes phone to get hot while charging

phone will explode, moderate charging makes ur phone warms but fast charging makes ur phone extreme hot so use lower voltage charger to charge ur phone to avoid overheating,bye.

my advice, try to return the garbage and get a refund, or sell the dam scrap, add some cash and get a decent smartphone from better brands like Nokia, Samsung, Redmi, Oppo, Vivo, LG etc.

avoid transsion AKA Tecno, Infinix, and Itel. They are scam.

Update your phone. And as for the hotness that is not normal, it is normal for phone to get warm when charging though

Make sure you are using the original charger, reduce the many applications you open at once, and if you are using phone cover probably remove for some time.
