It’s easy to do brother,just search on YouTube how to do so and follow the videos step by step…

I'll advice you not to do that.. You can change am to 80gb or 120gb.. 320gb or 500gb is too much for ps3 phat..it will cause more hang and probably YLOD...and also I don't know what you want use 320 or 500gb do.. How many game you wan play at once...

I only recommend 320gb for ps3 super-slim.

I’ve 500gb external hdd with games on it… I wanted to install uncharted 2 on my ps 3 and that one is 19gb.. you know you have to copy it to internal hdd that’s 19gb first then after you na install it that’s another 19 again buh it’s telling me to free space on the hdd.. check the remaining space it’s 12gb that remains

If you want to be doing that..

You should make it that only multi-man or any other homebrew you are using is the only file on your HDD.. And I don't think you will HV problem if some of your 500 external drive is inside the multi-man.. Not outside..

I mn you can only access the inside the homebrew.

Atleast fat is still buyable

Fat is buyable....I always advise my customers to try and get 15-20k difference phat and slim sometimes..
because by the time phat it rubbish, they will still come back to repair YLOD. They will pay 6k.after some months the faults can still re-occur..they will still want to repair it..
Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't..
If the money is available anytime you are buying ps3..
Always go for slim/super-slim
