Local tv stations need to wake up to modern global techniques and technologies.



Most of our local tv stations dey pain person for eyes.



Again, the constant gagging of the press isn't helping matters either.



The recent quizzing of Channels tv officials is a case in point.




The government welcomes only praise singers like the Nonsense Television Authority (NTA).



Me ma don forget the year I watched that station sef!

Channels is my local TV station and I watch it once in a while on GoTV

I find it boring cause you get confuse on which station/ program to watch . Once am with my phone am cool .

Thing are changing but our Local Tv stations have refused to change just like some civil servants you meet in our my ministries....same old...same old...with little or nothing to offer

Why not give the stations out to capable hands who can transform them...just saying

few state owned tv stations are equipped with good progs but others will be like watching hell fire. OSBC of Osun is a good example thank they are a little better now. you wouldn't hear and watch any meaningful thing during the former gov. all you see on the screen is hailing Aregbesola up and down

DRTV (DBS) in warri is the worst of them all... They are know for obituary content and always going off air

I can relate to this. They are fond of church adverts. They also have some very useless programmes: one of them is called Focus.

I still watch journalist hangout on DSTV yesterday.

I watch TVC everyday because of journalist hangout with Babajide Otitoju and other presenters.

Funny how I was always glued to the front of the Television screen watching ITV and NTA.
The internet and Cable TVs have really changed things.

Like 20years now. It's been purely dstv or Netflix, amazon prime.

In Jos, I watched PRTV last in 2018, it was even by mistake because I visited a friend's house and they was showing the animation "SING". Interesting movie. That was the last time. They love announcing obituaries for Africa. GoTV and my data are bae.

I only remember local channels when my gotv sub expires and idont watch more than a day that NTA is very fustrating chai i better watch LTV

It's been many years now. Since I bought a cable tv about 7years ago I have not watched NTA or any other local tv station that doesn't have an international broadcasting platform on my cable tv. Unfortunately, tv stations like NTA have refused to grow and keep up with the times. Instead they just refine and repackage mediocrity for us. I get annoyed each time I glance the station

Nta na eye sore

Radios are better...

when my sub expires.
