I am looking for where they can install GTA V on a laptop for me in Owerri.
I downloaded the game and after all the time(and data) I spent downloading and installing it, it refused to play.
Worst 70gb I have spent.
I appreciate any helpful inputs.

Failed installations comes mostly from absence of certain files in the system

70gb...... WOW! That's huge. You could have gotten the game from fitgirl repack, it just 30+gb over there, and you loose nothing in terms of quality after installation.

Meanwhile, what error message are you getting? And also, what's your system specs?

When I run the GTA V game, I just get a black screen that exits immediately.

Processor : 2.70ghz intel core i7 (3rd Gen).

Few times, most of these kinda problem is caused by Os. Probably, your game version & the Os do not go well together. If it weren't too much trouble, I'd suggested you downgrade to Windows 8. Windows 7 & 8 rarely give issues when it comes to games, that's why I fancy both Os.

You can try this. try running the game as an administrator, in the game location itself.. What I am trying is say is that, don't run the game from the desktop icon. Locate the folder were the game is installed in your system & run the game from there.

-All you got to do is right click on the GTA icon on your desktop,
-Select open file location
-When it opens, right click on the .exe file & run as administrator...

NB: This is kinda a hunch.

Hope you haven't deleted it yet.
Try downloading and installing the latest directx from Microsoft store. Then go to getintopc . Com and download then install visual c++ distributables pack. Restart your pc, turn off your windows defender or any other antivirus you have on it. Install game and run setup.

Wish I saw this sooner.
I deleted it as soon as I couldn't get it to work.
I am particularly aggressive in doing away with files that occupy space.
Once it doesn't work or is not satisfactory, I hit alt+delete on its rear.

If you have a system restore point, you can still get the game. Just restore your PC to the day you downloaded the game or you got the game on your pc.

I would recommend another repack (from xatab); it often works more correctly. And in general, try to find an account in epicgames there gave away for free gta 5; you can try to play there if possible. Based on what you get, most likely there is a problem with the video driver; I'm not sure that the old driver supports GTA 5; maybe it is worth updating? In any case, if you figure it out, look at expertmodz.com/; there are many useful things for your account.
